Consequences travel

Most enterprise technology problems are not product problems. They are consequences of decisions made in one domain that surface in another. A licensing structure chosen for cost constrains an architecture two years later. An identity model chosen for convenience limits what can be integrated. A platform chosen without reference to the security boundary it must operate inside becomes a remediation project. Qwalora’s deepest platform work is in Microsoft environments, including the government clouds. Azure Government and GCC High operate under different service availability, different feature parity, and different authorization boundaries than commercial Azure, and the differences are consequential: a service available commercially may not be available at IL4, and a capability that exists in GCC High may behave differently than its commercial equivalent. We work in these environments across landing zone architecture, identity and conditional access in Entra, Power Platform administration under restricted tenancy, and the control inheritance that determines how much of a FedRAMP or RMF boundary a platform actually carries for you.

AWS

Qwalora works across AWS for cloud architecture, identity, compute and storage, networking, and security automation, including GovCloud environments where authorization boundaries and service availability differ from commercial regions.

Infrastructure

Compute, storage, virtualization, endpoints, and hybrid infrastructure. Most enterprises are not all-cloud and will not be. The infrastructure decisions that matter are usually about what stays, what moves, and what the boundary between them costs to operate.

Networking

Routing and switching, wireless, network security, and hybrid connectivity. Network architecture determines what the rest of the environment can do, and it is the layer most often inherited rather than designed.

Security

Identity, endpoint, cloud security, network security, and security architecture. Security is not a layer applied after the environment exists. It is a property of how the environment was assembled.

Automation & Platforms

Red Hat, Linux, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Infrastructure as code, container platforms, and configuration management are what make an environment reproducible, auditable, and recoverable.

How the work sequences
